What: Sustainable Fleet Management Training & Green Fleet Showcase
When: September 12-13, 2018
Where: LeMay - America's Car Museum, 2702 E D St, Tacoma
Day 1 of this two-day event will offer an opportunity to participate and become certified in NAFA's Sustainable Fleet Management course, taught by Gary Lentsch, Fleets Supervisor for the Eugene Water & Electric Board. The course will cover a variety of sustainable fleet topics, including:
- Building a Sustainable Fleet Program
- Sustainable Driver Training
- Sustainable Fleet Metrics
- Sustainable Leadership & Change Management
- Using & Tracking Fuel to Support Sustainability
- Acquiring a Sustainable Fleet: Strategic Mobility Concepts
Day 2 will feature a technology showcase and ride and drive opportunity at LeMay Car Museum for fleets to test out a variety of alternative fuel vehicles across the heavy, medium, and light-duty cycles.
Lunch will be provided both days. Ticket includes free entry into LeMay Car Museum for the day. Of particular interest to attendees is the museum's "Powering the Future" exhibit, featuring many alternative fuel vehicles, such as a 1914 Detroit Electric.
