Mount Vernon: Leading EV Infrastructure in WA

It has been a year since Mount Vernon Library Commons opened its doors to the public and established the nation’s largest EV charging hub. 

The EV charging station found at the Mount Vernon Library Commons is the nation's largest EV charging hub with 9 e-bike charger lockers, 76 EV charging ports, 4 of which are DC fast chargers, and the potential to install 200 more charging ports in the future. 

Mount Vernon Library Commons, an EMPOWER workplace, has become a model in resource-efficient practices, multimodal transportation and carbon reduction across the U.S as another positive outcome of the project. Above all, community members enjoy the new building, parking garage, library services and resources.
