Are you considering replacing your old diesel yard trucks in King, Kitsap, Pierce or Snohomish County? Now is the perfect time to explore grant funding opportunities that can help you upgrade to electric vehicles and significantly reduce diesel pollution in your operations.
The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency’s Diesel Program is actively seeking project ideas from organizations ready to make the switch to zero-emission yard trucks. The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency collaborates with both private and public organizations to secure grant funding for projects aimed at cutting diesel emissions. Typically, these grants can reimburse equipment owners for 25-60% of the costs associated with replacing older diesel vehicles or engines with cleaner alternatives.
If you have vehicles with large, old engines that are used frequently, we want to hear from you. Especially if your operations are in or near an overburdened community. Engines manufactured before 2012 that are used daily in or around communities impacted by diesel pollution will be prioritized for replacement.
Don’t miss this opportunity to modernize your fleet and contribute to cleaner air. To get started, please visit our website or contact us at Diesel@pscleanair.gov.
