The Clean Cities and Communities Annual Meeting is a key event hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy, bringing together coordinators from Clean Cities coalitions, government officials, industry stakeholders, and partners. This gathering serves as a platform for discussing strategies, sharing best practices, and collaborating on initiatives aimed at reducing petroleum use in transportation.
The 2024 Clean Cities and Communities (CC&C) Training Workshop, held from September 10–12 at the InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront in Minnesota, was a unique opportunity for coalition directors, co-directors, and staff to come together for hands-on training.
This year, two members of our team had the opportunity to attend, and the experience was eye-opening, showcasing the vast resources and support within the Clean Cities and Communities network.
Our team member, Spencer, reflected on the experience of the event, stating, "Continued education is such an important part of any career, especially in an industry as fast-moving as alternative fuels. Attending the 2024 Clean Cities and Communities Training Workshop was a great experience, giving us the opportunity to share and learn from our 75+ peer organizations throughout the United States."
Thanks to the strong value of being part of the Clean Cities and Communities network, our team gained critical insights into the latest developments in alternative fuels, engagement tools, and how to better serve our Coalition stakeholders.
